Tuesday, 14 April

  1. "MG in the Prewar Years", with Tom Metcalf- Tom Metcalf, MG collector, and owner of Safety Fast! Restoration will be presenting a history of the beginnings of MG from the prewar years. Illuminate your understanding of the early years of MG as Tom recounts MMM history. His presentation will include the marque’s technical improvements and progression, racing and production high points and the genesis of the of the spirit behind the cars that endures among us.

  2. An Evening with the Masters-Finish your evening at the Pig & Whistle with our panel of nationally known MG experts plus your GOF friends who answer questions and exchange tips in an open forum. It's the perfect end to a first day of GOF and before you return to the Radisson for the night.

 

Wednesday, 15 April

  1. Tent Tech Session-Tuning an MG-Open the bonnet and get your hands dirty at this hands-on outside under cover session. Rick Sevcech, MG-T owner, MG engine expert, former auto repair owner, Lead Technician Volvo USA will demonstrate his proven step-by-step method to get your MG humming!

  2. The Race to Space In My MG, with Bob Sieck-Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet Bob Sieck, one of NASA’s most influential leaders. Bob played a pivotal role in America’s space program—beginning his career at Kennedy Space Center in 1964 and serving as Launch Director for over 50 Space Shuttle missions. You probably saw him on TV during those launches. Bob retired as Director of Shuttle Processing in 1999, but continues to shape spaceflight as a member of the NASA Advisory Council and the SpaceX Safety Panel. A lifelong MG enthusiast, Bob bought his MGTF in 1960 and often drove it to the Cape. He joined the Classic MG Club in 1965 and, of course, participated in GOF-Souths.

  3. Lifestyle Session- Easy Beach Style Dishes-A packed picnic basket full of deliciousness strapped to the back of your MG. Could there be anything better after a great drive? Chef Darren Molnar will be demonstrating and sharing some of his best and easiest summertime treats, whether they travel on your MG boot or are presented on a table surrounded by friends and family.

  4. Tires For Your MG-Choosing and maintaining MG tires is complicated. Bias or Radial? Tubes? What size? Inflation? Rims and wheels? Age? Ken Ball, retired Bridgestone Tire executive, fleet educator, and race team expert will give the answers to keep safe and maximize performance of your MG. 5. Valve Cover Races-Race your MG at GOF (well, at least a small part of it!). Valve cover racing returns to GOF in 2026 after the Meet & Greet dinner. Thursday, 16 April

  1. Rolling Tech Session at the Car Show- an annual favorite, Glenn Lenhard, nationally known and respected owner of Glenn's MG & British Car Repair, and other MG experts will diagnose and repair your MG on-the-spot during the Thursday Car Show. Make sure you follow them to watch and learn.

  2. The Future of the MG Hobby - Nick Pardee, proprietor of Goldseal, LLC will moderate a symposium on perpetuating the future of the MG hobby. How do we pass the love we have for these cars to the next generation? Attendees are encouraged to consider specifically what MG means to them.

  3. Car and Driver Together for 100 Years, with JoAnn Cook- Do you and your MG value longevity and the best quality of life? Let’s shoot for 100 years! Jo Ann Cook, psychologist, and MG-T custodian Lonnie Cook discuss researched and documented facts for you and for your MG in this unique dual focus event. I bet that you will treat yourself and your MG better.

  4. Bourbon Tasting & Making an Old Fashioned-A perfect combination … a true American spirit and a favorite British cocktail. Taste and learn about the complexities of Kentucky Bourbon, then watch a master bartender create the famous Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktail that James Bond enjoyed in Ian Flemming’s novels “Live and Let Die,” “Diamonds are Forever,” and “Thunderball.” The event requires an additional fee of $10 per person but includes a voucher for your old fashioned (or alternative cocktail!)
