02/07 Bring Your Own Lunch Picnic (former North/South Picnic)

Once again, this year we will hold the BYOL (bring your own lunch) picnic on February 7, 2026. The event will be held at beautiful Magnolia Park in Apopka. The address is 2929 Binion Road Apopka, 32703.

As we did last year, everyone is to bring their own lunch. You can bring your favorite "Dagwood" sandwich from home, or you can stop by Jersey Mikes and have them make one for you. Whatever you choose to have is on you.

We will meet at Pavillion #2 which is all the way in the back of the park. We hope it will be one of those beautiful Winter days we get to brag about to all our friends who are shoveling out up north, but if not the Pavillion is covered. We have the Pavilion all day, so you may come at any time. We plan to officially have lunch at noon.

Magnolia Park is a really nice walk around park with trails and frontage on Lake Apopka across the street. If you're really feeling adventurous you can go on the Lake Apopka scenic drive which is right down the road. You may also visit the nature center which is just across the road from the park. You can also just visit with your MG friends, kick tires and swap stories. It's all about taking a nice ride in your car and enjoying the company of like-minded friends.

So, mark the date on your calendar. And don't forget, you can bring the kids, grandma, Uncle Joe or the neighbor who always wanted to own an MG but never had the opportunity. What better way is there to introduce someone to the MG world where you can see all the models and decide if they want to be a part of this. And best of all, it's a cheap date, and you are guaranteed to have lunch just as you like it. There is no need to rsvp, make reservations or let us know, just show up. We hope for good weather, lots of MG's and a great lunch. Hope to see you there,
